Introducing Our Podcast Cover Artist

Meet Mercy Garriga, a digital illustrator from Chicago, IL

Mercy Garriga (She/Her/Hers) | Digital Illustration

Mercy Garriga is a graphic designer born and raised in Chicago, IL. She graduated from St. Olaf College with a B.A. in Studio Arts and Race & Ethnic Studies in 2018, and has recently completed the Fifth Year Emerging Artist at St. Olaf College. She is passionate about issues of race and how she can shine a light on them through her artwork. Mercy’s intent is to give a megaphone to those who have been yelling but remain ignored by the powers that be. She hopes to make people laugh, cry tears of joy, think critically, and see themselves through her artwork.

I hope this image conveys the vision and hope that will be presented through the voices in the podcast.

If you like Mercy's work, please check out her other amazing projects on her Instagram and portfolio!
